Protocol
This is a Communication Control Block (CCB) parameter. It occupies byte 0 in the CCB.
When the CCB is activated with a ComSetCCB, the specified protocol is activated and takes charge.
Protocol assignments are:

Note that a protocol other than SPLatLink cannot be invoked (switched to) in the first 10 seconds after a reset.
