AgiDrive 01 concrete barrel controller

The concrete barrel controller is a custom SPLat used in the AgiDrive control system. The AgiDrive system is perhaps the most advanced barrel control system in the world, offering barrel loads of features to improve quality, maximise productivity and reduce maintenance.

The SPLat contains many features aimed specifically at the customer's needs. These include a dash-mountable operator control panel that connects to the main board via up to 10m of standard CAT5 cable (for ease of supply and installation), and a main board with special purpose interfaces for proportional hydraulic valves, engine control modules etc. The operator control panel contains an LCD, two LED bargraphs, annunciator LEDs, beeper and push buttons. Programming is as easy as a standard SPLat. For example, the operator control panel appears like a regular OnBoard LCD (OBLCD) just like on an MMi99, and the bargraphs appear as analog outputs. The latter idea means the programmer doesn't need to worry about figuring which LEDs to turn on, and if a future technology should allow dramatically more bargraph segments there would be no need to change the SPLatWare.
