How SPLat works: Hash commands

Hash commands were introduced in January, 2012. Hash commands, and their associated hash functions, provide a very high level of functionality in specialised areas.

Hash commands are made possible by a pre-processor which manipulates your program before it is sent to the translator. The pre-processor picks out all lines flagged with a # and generates SPLat code and NVEM0 table entries required to perform the required function. This allows complex operations to be reduced to a simple line of code.
