This is a Communication Control Block (CCB) parameter. It occupies byte 11 (counting from 0) in the CCB.
Sometimes a communications master will send out a query (poll, data request) but not receive a response. This can be caused by problems with the communications channel, a dead slave or other problems. This parameter specifies how many times a SPLat working as master will attempt to send a query before giving up on receiving a response.
If no response is received within the specified number of queries, an error is recorded. This can subsequently be read out using a instruction.COMErrData
Applies to the following protocols: ModBus RTU master.
