Once more it's been far too long since the previous newsletter. In fact, it's been a very busy 5 months, with a large component of product development (some being full custom product that cannot be publicised).
I was in Florida in late January, delivering and commissioning one such product. In fact, I was staying in Orlando when the Columbia disaster took place. It had a very minor personal angle: I was booked to run a seminar for NASA engineers on the Tuesday when the Columbia crashed on the preceding Saturday. I can now only hope that the US government will not be dissuaded from the need to keep pressing forward with space exploration, and preferably far beyond the cozy, routine Low Earth Orbit stuff. Just as I refuse to believe we are all alone in the universe, I equally refuse to believe that it is Mankind's Manifest Destiny to remain confined to one little planet.
