Set timer number t to time for duration dddd and start the timer counting. The timers count down towards zero, and stop at zero.
For timers 0-3, t is in units of 100mS. For timers 4-7, t is in units of 10mS. The maximum allowed value for t is 32,767. You may set the timer to 0, in which case it stops timing.

These timers are a legacy feature and not recommended for new programs. The SuperTimers, along with Wait**T and Pause instructions provide a much more powerful mechanism.
