Tech Support: What dialect do I have?

Denny wondered:

What is the dialect for my MMi201 controller?

I checked on the hardware, the Help Section, did a search, etc., but I couldn't find it.

Denny, the dialect depends on which version of firmware the board contains. When you connect your board to SPLat/PC it will read out the dialect in the lower RH corner of the editor. The Module window will read out the firmware version.

You can check the documentation for your board type in the SPLat Knowledge Base. Every controller has a section called "Firmware revisions and reFlashing" which contains firmware revision information and leads you to instructions on how to update the firmware. Firmware updates are free.
